For Ella & James the decision of where to hold their elegant wedding was easy... keep it in the family! Milton Park is actually Ella's childhood home,  she has many great family memories of the property so the idea was born to create a fairytale marque filled with a fairy lights from YES Events setup outside her Grandmothers home.

With lots of help from family and friends Ella & James's big day came together perfectly, from the flowers by her Nana to the family friend who performed the ceremony. When I asked Ella what was her favourite part of her big day she said "James and I both think that our ceremony was the best part of our day... our family and friends were brought together in a very special place, the venue looked like a fantasy land with the magnificent vista of the Southern Highlands as the backdrop."

"Our first dance was also a great memory for us. We spent weeks practicing and were both thrilled on the night when we ran through the steps smoothly and without hesitation, turns out the teacher was right practice makes perfect!"

You can definitely feel Ella's style and personality in the styling of their big day... Ella chose a metallic gold and rose quartz crystal theme, with coordinating gold cutlery, crystal cut classes, pink linens, gold metallic strelitzia leaves, pampas grass and David Austin pale roses for the reception and ceremony spaces.

I love the romantic flowing skirts of Ella's soft blush gown and the stunning Autumn tones of the gardens at Milton Park at this time of year... if you are looking for inspiration for your Autumn wedding in the Southern Highlands you need to see these gorgeous images captured by Darryn from Mckay Photography.
